CUSTODIAN POSITIONS
The Freedom Area School District is currently accepting applications for
custodian positions that are open and anticipated due to upcoming
retirements. The part-time custodian position offers a pay rate of $18.46
per hour, while substitute positions start at $18.00 an hour. If you are

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS


Day-to-Day Substitute Positions
Freedom School District has partnered with ESS to provide day-to-day and long-term substitute teachers and paraprofessionals.

Minimum Requirements:

PA state clearances, Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training, and TB test results  

Day to Day Substitute Teachers: $125.00/day

Long-Term Substitute Teachers (20 + days): $135.00/day

Active PA teaching certificates, inactive teaching certifications, or ACT 86 for college students with 60+ credits in education will be accepted. If you or someone you know holds a Bachelor’s degree, contact the local Kelly branch to learn more about emergency certification.

Paraprofessionals: $16/hour
