Effective June 10 - August 9, 2019 the Freedom Area School District will be open Monday through Thursday. The District will be closed on Fridays during this time. Summer hours are as follows:
Business Office ‒ 8:00am – 4:00pm
High School ‒ 7:30am – 3:30pm
Middle School ‒ 7:30am – 3:30pm
Elementary School ‒ 8:00am – 4:00pm
Our day will start with the annual Homecoming 5K Walk/Run at 9:00 a.m. at our stadium. Then the afternoon festivities begin with the Homecoming parade at 2:00 p.m. in downtown Freedom, followed by our festival on the school campus, with lots of food and fun. The excitement continues as we crown our next Homecoming King and Queen at the stadium at 6:30 p.m. followed by the Bulldogs taking on the Mohawk Warriors. We will end the evening with a bonfire and fireworks display.
As this is our 5th celebration, we are inviting back Freedom Area band alumni and former Homecoming Kings and Queens to participate in our parade and pre-game. We hope to see lots of alumni.
You can find further information and registration forms on this website or on our Facebook page - Freedom Area Bulldogs Homecoming Fall Festival.
This has been a great way for the Freedom Area community to come together and enjoy a fun-filled day for all ages. We hope you are able to be a part of the festivities.

Congratulations to Mrs. Jessika Fontaine (9th Grade Learning Support Teacher), who was named 2019 Beaver County Teacher of the Year by the Jumet Foundation!
Fontaine received her award at the Principal’s Reception on May 23, where she was surprised by her students and family, who were on hand for the announcement.
We all share the same goal: for students to enjoy the many benefits of interscholastic athletics in a healthy, safe manner. Unfortunately, some of those students might not play or even get into the game at all because they don’t have health insurance.
